Opera is looking for a talented and driven Motion Designer/ Animator to join our creative team. Motion Designers / Animators at Opera work side by side with our Creative Lead, Marketing Directors and Product Managers in order to visually express our brand in a consistent and effective manner. Optimize content with a wide range of different objectives including generating brand awareness vs. generating conversions, using your own knowledge & experience to produce the best performing visual content.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Create animations and graphics for Marketing, Advertising and Social campaigns
• Collaborating with product marketing and social media managers to understand needs, review scripts, design storyboards, and create and edit animations.
• Brief and project manage external design agencies
• Collaborate on setting the visual identity of the flagship Opera Browser
  

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years of motion design experience
• Availability for 20 hours per week (part-time)
• Passion for the tech industry & avid user of social media
• Thorough experience with Adobe Creative Suite
• Some experience with using Figma or Sketch
• Experience with self-run projects and proven self-direction / management skills
• Knowledge of how creatives impact performance is a plus
• Good working knowledge of English
