Campus Police Officer conduct patrols on campus to ensure security of buildings, students and staff. Responds to requests for assistance and emergencies. Being a Campus Police Officer enforces vehicle and traffic regulations. Investigates crimes. Additionally, Campus Police Officer may conduct educational activities related to safety and crime prevention. Typically require associate degree in criminal justice. May require POST(Peace Office Standards and Training) certification. Typically reports to Police Supervisor. The Campus Police Officer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Qualifications
· RA, OCPSA, OCPS, or OCPC
· Experience in youth-related community work, including interacting with people, organizations, school systems, and community groups.
· Knowledge and experience working with Information Technology, including computer/office programs.
· Interest and compassion for the well-being of community youth.
· Good communicator and strong leadership skills.
· Successfully complete FBI and BCI check.
· Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain reliable transportation.
· Willing to work flexible hours when needed for special events or activities.

· Responsibilities
· Assist the Prevention Manager with implementing a Field of Hope Prevention program for area youth, beginning in Gallia County and possibly spreading to surrounding counties as development allows.
· Work with school administrators, teachers, social workers, etc., to determine the targeted youth population and their needs.
· Coordinate efforts with other agencies such as the GJM ADAMHS Board, juvenile courts, and others as appropriate.
· Administer pre- and post-program evaluation tools.
· Serve as a role model to demonstrate positive relationships and interactions with clients, the community, and peers.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
