Coordinates pilot training and development plans to ensure all are ready for flight duty. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) uses the Safety Management System (SMS) to identify, mitigate, and manage risk in operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.   • Interstate Power System's is looking for Large Mining Shovel Technicians to join our team at our Gillette Wyoming branch. If you have experience with large scale mining shovels and their components then apply here!

    Job Duties:

    • Large Mining shovel component transmission and gear box, and various welding repairs/projects
    • Repairs to large mining equipment including shovels, draglines, haul trucks
    • Fabrication according to prints
    • Experience with stick and wire feed (dual shield) preferred as well as experience with hard wire and hard facing
    • Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department and customers
    • Keep paper work updated and handed in upon completion
    • Experience reading disassembly and Assembly manuals, using measurement tools.

    Ideal Candidate will possess the following qualities:

    • Positive attitude
    • The ability to set goals and accomplish them
    • Good written and verbal communication skills

    Requirements for Welder:

    • High school degree or G.E.D.
    • Must have at least 3-years of shovel experience
    • Must have your own set of general tools
    • Technical degree or certification a plus
    • Must be physically able to lift at least 50 pounds and work with no restrictions
