Being a Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) keeps informed about current aviation developments and regulations that impact flight operations. Coordinates pilot training and development plans to ensure all are ready for flight duty. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) uses the Safety Management System (SMS) to identify, mitigate, and manage risk in operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Aviation Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the continued airworthiness and safety of our corporate Phenom 300 jet. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine inspections, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical issues, and conducting preventative maintenance task in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on the Phenom 300 aircraft.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues.
Repair or replace defective components using appropriate tools and techniques.
Conduct engine inspections, servicing, and repairs as needed.
Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient aircraft maintenance operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certificate.
Previous experience working on corporate jets, preferably Phenom 300 aircraft.
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and avionics.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
