Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications and prior experience. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Percent of Time Spent : Reviews procedures, work orders, blueprints, set-up sheets, .
dfx files and receive verbal work instructions. Pulls required material using overhead crane and / or forklift, retrieves .
Must be able to select tooling, program at the machine, bend flat patterns on a Trumpf Tramabend V130. Performs program offsets at machine controls if needed.
Learns to set up and / or make necessary changes to set ups. Learns to program in Flowpath, Flowcut, Flownest. 60% Debur parts as the come off the waterjet in preparation for next operations.
10% Performs routine preventative maintenance and cleaning on waterjet. Assists with maintenance and care of work area and shop as needed.
20% Stock and inventory tooling, maintain a neat and organized work center. 10% Occasional Responsibilities : Performs other duties as assigned.
Assists in other areas of the shop as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge and Skills : Ability to work from drawings and oral instruction Some knowledge of inspection gauges and equipment.
Ability to inspect parts to drawings using Vernier’s, dial indicators, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, radius gauges, etc.
Basic computer skills necessary for time recording. Good communication skills. Team player. Ability to learn to program in Flowpath, Flowcut, Flownest, and Truebend.
Experience : At least 3-5 experience in a sheetmetal fabrication environment preferred. 3-5 years’ experience operating a waterjet to meet part specifications.
Flow waterjet experience preferred. 3-5 years’ experience bending sheetmetal on a CNC press brake. Exposure to Flow and Trumpf equipment is a plus but will train an experienced person.
Experience in a job shop part fabrication and assembly of equipment environment is a plus. Working experience in an ISO or continuous improvement environment is a plus.

Work Environment : Spends majority of time in a manufacturing environment which is not air conditioned. Exposure to possible hazards includes lifting objects, occasional noise and fork lift traffic.

Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
