Childcare Assistant Director

We are looking for someone with experience in the early childhood field, that enjoys record keeping, answering the phone, working on the computer, and enjoys working with families, staff and children to join our front office team. Assistant Director Responsibilities will include:

• Record keeping and organization of files
• Reviewing and completing forms
• Answering phones
• Giving tours to potential families and staff
• Using various software systems
• Acting as a designee for staff when Center Director is out
• Managing others
• Understand and monitor the curriculum philosophy
• Communicating with parents, staff and children
• Creating and adjusting daily staff schedules
• Helping to support classrooms and teachers when necessary

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma
• Must hold a CPL-3
• Experience managing other adults
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility
• Strong attention to detail
