Cardiac Device Technician

• Educate patients on all aspects of their device including remote monitoring and follow-up protocol.

• Serve as resource to providers and other employees regarding device patients and services.

• Keep equipment in good working condition and notify appropriate personnel of problem areas or safety issues.

• Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.

• Accountable for following the guidelines for attendance, punctuality and overall dependability.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 
  High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering in the biomedical field strongly preferred.

• Successful completion of a full Cardiac Device Educational Program (i.e., PrepMD) or, one year’s experience in Electrophysiology is strongly preferred

• Current experience reviewing and managing remote device transmissions is strongly preferred.

• Current BLS certification required.

• ACLS certification is required within the first year of employment
