A facility in Glens Falls, NY seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our team for a 13 week local or travel contract. The Cardiac Monitor Technician will be responsible for monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms and identifying any abnormalities or irregularities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

**Cardiac Monitor Technician Responsibilities:**
- Monitor cardiac rhythms using specialized equipment and technology.
- Identify and document cardiac rhythm abnormalities.
- Communicate with healthcare team members regarding changes in patients' cardiac status.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with cardiac monitoring equipment.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of monitoring data.
- Adhere to established protocols and procedures for cardiac monitoring.
- Provide support and assistance to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals as needed.
**Cardiac Monitor Technician Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in cardiac monitoring preferred.
- Previous experience as a Cardiac Monitor Technician or in a related healthcare role preferred.
- Knowledge of cardiac monitoring equipment and technology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
