As a Civil Case Manager at The Jeffcoat Firm, you’ll guide clients through the civil case process, from treatment to settlement. The Case Manager will be the primary point of contact for the client and act as the middleman, communicating with the insurance companies on the client’s behalf. The work is fast-paced and collaborative, working alongside Attorneys, Record Coordinators, and Legal Assistants. 

What you'll be doing: 

• Responsible for documenting all actions and communication in the client’s case file. 
• Daily client interaction providing case status, assistance with medical treatment, collecting case information, and education of the personal injury claim process.  
• Build sustainable relationships and engage clients by going the extra mile. 
• Collect, examine, and organize evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation. 
• Review medical records and bills. 
• Draft demands. 
• Lien negotiation and reductions. 
• Coordinate with others within the firm to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion. 
• Attends required morning and monthly meetings. 
• Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Who you are: 

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Litigation or pre-litigation experience working for a law firm or similar. 
• An understanding of auto and health insurance subrogation is a plus. 
• Experience with auto accidents, injury claims or litigation preferred. 
• Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.  
• Ability to multi-task, and work both within a team and independently.
