# Job Summary
We are looking for a positive, energy focused customer service savvy candidate who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and having fun! The Alonti Sales Assistant would be in charge of placing client's catering orders, managing email correspondence, creating proposal quotes and handling customer service needs. Duties would also include taking food deliveries to our clients when needed and providing marketing support outside our 4 walls. The SA works at our Santa Ana location and reports specifically to the Catering Sales Manager of our Orange County area territory. This person will also help with afternoon food deliveries as needed.
Alonti Catering is open Monday through Friday. The scheduled shift is 8am to 430/5pm depending upon volume of business, with a 30 minute lunch break in-between. Average hours per week will be between 38-40. Working knowledge of Microsoft and Google office applications is necessary, as well as the ability to confidently communicate with customers via phone and email.
## Responsibilities
- Assist the sales manager in managing and upselling to existing clients
- Assist in writing proposals and fullfilling quotes for potential upcoming business
- Assist in writing emails and responding to customer questions
- Help answer phone calls while providing exceptional customer service to clients and potential clients
- Support the sales manager in maintaining our database and generating reports
- Assist in market research and business development activities at the direction of the sales manager
-Follow up with first time customers and offer any further assistance
## Experience
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles
- Familiarity with CRM software is preferred
- Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and business development strategies
- Strong phone skills, email skills and Office applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
