Zantech is looking for a Senior Technical Engineer at AAG, a Joint Operation that provides primary support to the Army and secondary support to DOD components, you will be integral in supporting AAG’s enterprise information technology application integration services for the Department of Defense (DOD).

Your role will involve maintaining an integrated Cloud infrastructure consisting of development, test, training, user acceptance, production, and other types of environments. You will provide services for enterprise information technology operations and maintenance support, ensuring the continuous maintenance of the production environment and, on a limited basis, specified development & test environments.

These environments host numerous types of applications, which are broad in scope and can cover all Uniformed Services, all components of the Total Force (Active, Guard, Reserve, and Civilian), Federal and critical DOD operations throughout the world. These applications support decision-making by senior members of the DOD and include domains such as logistical, financial, personnel, organizational, and analytical domains. As part of your role, you will support migration to cloud services for this upcoming Army program.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

Your responsibilities will include day-to-day operation in all environments, including Development, Test, and Production. You will also be responsible for patch management and provide Information Technology (IT) services required to support the full operational and maintenance lifecycle of all classified and unclassified AAG managed systems and infrastructure. This includes areas such as:

• Desktop Administration
• Network Support and Infrastructure
• Operational Server Support
• IT Asset Management
• Equipment lifecycle management
• Operations Project Management
• Operations Configuration Management
• Operations Change Management
• Incident Analysis and Problem Management
• Knowledge Management
• Datacenter Operations and Maintenance Oversight (all government-owned equipment)
• Capacity Management
• Information Assurance (IA) and Systems Security
• Database Support
• Systems Support

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

• 7 years’ experience in project management experience juggling multiple projects of similar scope. A background in IT, Development, or Quality Assurance programs is required. You should have advanced oversight and management of onsite technicians and be adept at managing scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed-upon time, cost, and quality parameters.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related scientific or technical discipline
• 10 years of relevant experience.
• IAT II Certification - CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, SSCP
• Experience with:
• Windows 2008R2 and higher
• VMWare
• NetApp experience
• Citrix Administration and configuration
• Advanced IIS 7.0/7.5
• Solar Winds Monitoring
• DISA Gold, Army Gold Master Administration and configuration
• CISCO UCS Hardware administration
• Advanced DNS administration and configuration

Required Security Clearance:

• Active SECRET or higher clearance based on contract requirements
