Records the name of the drug, the dosage, the time of administration, and any other relevant information on specified forms or records. Additionally, Certified Medication Technician takes vital signs and observes patient to detect response to medication. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager. CMA Description of the Position :
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide Residents with routine daily nursing care delivered in a compassionate attitude and in accordance with our established nursing care procedures and philosophies as may be directed by your supervisors.
As a CMA, you will be responsible for assuring that all residents are given their medication in a timely and orderly manner, as well as maintaining proper documentation and ordering from the pharmacy.
