We are seeking a skilled and passionate Welding Instructor to join our team at TradeCon Industries. As a Welding Instructor, you will play a crucial role in training and mentoring students in the art and science of welding. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive and hands-on instruction to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the welding industry.
Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials for welding courses.
- Instruct students on various welding processes, techniques, and safety practices.
- Demonstrate welding procedures and provide hands-on training to students.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment to motivate and inspire students.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in welding technology and industry practices.
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the welding program's effectiveness.
- Participate in curriculum development and program improvement initiatives.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure a safe and clean welding lab.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Welding or a related field preferred).
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or relevant welding certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in the welding industry with expertise in various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.).
- Prior experience as a welding instructor or in a teaching/training capacity is a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
