Job Responsibilities :

Pennoni is currently seeking part-time AWS Certified Welding Inspectors in Miami, FL for fabrication shops that produce bridge and highway products for transportation agencies with experience is consistent with, but not limited to :

• Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials
• Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications
• Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers
• Production of daily written shop reports

Required Attributes :

• Minimum Education : High School
• Minimum years of experience : 3
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector
• Computer Skills : Microsoft windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work well independently and with others
• Need reliable transportation

Preferred Attributes :

• Non-Destructive Testing NDT certifications ( UT, MT, PT).
• Experience performing QA / QC of bridge and highway structures fabrication.
• AWS Experience.
• Coating Inspection experience
