Change Management Analyst (Intermediate)

Personnel Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of relative experience, OR
• A master’s degree and one (1) year of relative experience, OR
• At least seven (7) years of relative experience in an IT field in lieu of a degree.
• At least three (3) years’ experience in developing, implementing, or evaluating IT change management policies, procedures, and configuration management plans.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in NIST and FISMA compliance background, experience developing, implementing, or evaluating security policies and procedures, system security plans, security audit plans, and security risk assessment plans.
• One or more of the following certifications preferred:
• Change Management Related Certifications (Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), PROSCI Certified Change Practitioner)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL Foundation or Practitioner)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) o Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) o Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)
• Project Management Institute related Certifications (PMI Certified Practitioner, Project Management Professional (PMP))

Capabilities

• Deliver a robust and comprehensive communication plan for both internal and client-facing communications.
• Develop and deliver communications through multiple channels.
• Ensure messages are being delivered to the right audience at the right time in the right channel, in a consistent, and engaging format.
• Leverage change management methodology and apply as appropriate for the business environment, adjusting as needed to ensure focus is on execution and impact for the people-side change driven by a transformation initiative.
• Develop a change management approach based on a situational awareness of the change and the groups being impacted.
• Identify potential people-side risks, points of resistance, performance gaps.
• Develop specific corrective action plans to mitigate risks.
• Conduct business readiness assessments, evaluate results.
• Develop plans to ensure business is prepared for upcoming technology changes.
• Deploy a set of actionable and targeted change management plans– including a communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, and a resistance management plan.
• Develop Change Management policies, procedures, standards, and guidance as required.
• Provide Change Management policy, methodology and best practice recommendations.
• Ensure application and hardware development incorporate secure waterfall (SDLC) and agile change management controls, methodologies, and processes.
• Ensure information systems are operated, used, maintained, and disposed in accordance with security policy, procedures, standards, and guidance.
• Support implementation of security and risk management frameworks to drive technical solutions.
• Conduct oral and written communications on project status and issues with Managers and Team Leads.
• Communicate technical topics to customer management and non- technical audiences.
• Interface with customers to explain secure change management concepts and best practices.
• Knowledge of security components, processes and best practices for change management, configuration management, risk management, vulnerability management, compliance, records retention, business continuity, security impact analysis, privacy, and disaster recovery.
