    Jacobs is seeking a Maintenance and Asset Management Specialist to join our Operations Management and Facility Services (OMFS) consulting team. In this role, you'll assume a lead role in supporting asset management efforts and maintenance management services for consulting and contract operations customers.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    •    Support Jacobs Asset Condition Evaluation System (ACES) risk-based condition assessment processes for consulting and contract operations customers at various locations 
    •    Support business pursuits of new work and contract renewals including site visits, site evaluations, maintenance modeling and proposal writing
    •    Support the development of condition assessment scopes of work and deliver associated workshops for customers
    •    Participate Failure Modes and Effects Analysis and associated workshops for customers
    •    Perform maintenance staffing evaluations, department business process reviews, business process mapping
    •    Provide technical support to projects as skills support for CMMS, predictive and preventive maintenance strategies, facility risk profiling can capital planning decision making
    •    Support optimization of treatment facilities maintenance within the region through benchmarking and key performance indicator analysis.
    •    Communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with supervisors, coworkers, clients, and project personnel.
    •    Conduct maintenance management and technical skills training programs utilizing provided training material.
    •    Maintain technical skills at the highest level and remain informed of the latest developments in the field.
    •    Establish cooperative relationships with coworkers, project maintenance and operations staff, clients, vendors, contractors, and all others contacted during the work.
    •    Provide guidance regarding maintenance programs in accordance with the Jacobs OMFS Maintenance Resource Guide.
    •    Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, specifications, and mechanical illustrations.
    •    Prepare, consult on, or review maintenance cost estimates and level of effort.
    •    Perform ongoing project reviews to determine client satisfaction with past service and develop recommendations on the need for future service.
    •    Assist in the development of project specific Capital Improvement Planning when requested. 
    •    Assist with project recovery efforts after significant weather events in any region as assigned.

    This position requires 75% travel.

    The base salary range for this position is $116,400 to $203,600.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    Here’s what you’ll need:

    •    Ten (10) years of complex and/or industrial maintenance experience. US Military training is acceptable.
    •    Proficient in the use of CMMS software (example, Maximo, Maintenance Connection, SAP)
    •    Highly proficient in the use of spreadsheet and/or database computer programs
    •    Experience and understanding of budget preparation and financial accountability.
    •    Ability to travel 
    •    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    •    Valid US driver’s license with no major infractions

    Ideally, You'll Also Have:

    •    CMRP – Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional certificate
    •    CRL – Certified Reliability Leader certificate
    •    Knowledge of Uptime Elements Reliability Framework and Asset Management System
    •    Comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of industrial equipment maintenance and extensive knowledge of methods to reduce operating costs, improve reliability, and ensure permit compliance. 
    •    Water and/or wastewater equipment maintenance experience is a plus.

    Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: 

    •    Must be able to walk up to 3 miles per 8-hour shift
    •    Must be able to ascend and descend up to 1,100 stair steps per 8-hour shift
    •    Must be able to lift bags weighing up to 40 pounds each from floor level up to waist high in an 8-hour shift
    •    Must be able to work in all types of weather

The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals.  The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
