Night Shift Automation Technician - Technical Support Specialist

    This position requires an Automation Technician to work the 3rd shift, which runs from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. The role involves offering technical support and engineering expertise within a manufacturing environment, critical for maintaining automation systems.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of previous experience in a technical support and/or engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
    • Successful completion of ISA Certified Control Systems Technician Level 1.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
    • Proficiency in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
    • Current forklift certification or ability to become certified; ability to operate scissors lift.

    Flexibility

    • Willingness to adjust schedules to meet business needs, including extended shifts, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
    • Ability to move to different shifts to balance skills, results, vacation coverage, and training opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Learn and apply advanced control concepts to support the manufacturing process.
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure successful operation of automation systems.
