Charge Capture Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all billing charges are captured in an appropriate manner. Identifies, analyzes and reconciles billing errors or omissions. Being a Charge Capture Specialist reviews patient account records and third party payer issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Charge Capture Specialist typically reports to a manager. To be a Charge Capture Specialist typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Qualifications:
- Nonprofit financial reporting and basic accounting duties like receivables, payables, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, monthly closings, etc.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Willing to help streamline and improve our processes.
Responsibilities:
- Record routine financial transactions that include restricted funds
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations
- Collaborate with staff to anticipate and solve problems
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client data
Skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Proficient in 10-key typing for efficient data input
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

Habitat for Humanity Calaveras has been serving Calaveras County since 1994. Since our founding, we have built 20 houses and repaired hundreds of homes.
We are excited to embark on the Eureka Oaks Community Development, breaking ground in 2024 ultimately building 107 residential homes in Angels Camp.
This position will be growing with us as we were just awarded a $10 Million grant from the State of California to complete the infrastructure for the Eureka Oaks Community Development. We are looking for a team member that desires to be a part of the mission of Habitat for Humanity Calaveras.
