    This position is responsible for the management of a retail store location and ensuring maximum profitability by driving customer volume (car count) and ensuring each customer receives “autofairency”. The General Manager communicates directly with customers and team members to ensure customer expectations are exceeded to execute our vision.

    Essential Functions

    • Responsible for filling Store bays by scheduling appointments when consulting customers about their current and future needs.

    • Greets customers upon arrival; answers Store telephone calls timely and in a professional manner; Conducts customer service calls such as reminder and thank you phone calls.

    • Confirms customer needs are met and exemplary customer service is provided by establishing a strong client relationship built on trust.

    • Ensures the equitable resolution of customer complaints with a sense of urgency.

    • Ensures profitability with total control of Store profit and loss (P&L) regarding expenses and productivity.

    • Hires, trains, manages and retains team members, including scheduling, supervising, and appraising work; rewarding, motivating, counseling and disciplining team members; addressing team member complaints and resolving problems.

    • Responsible for inventory management regarding stocking levels and manages inventory by conducting accurate weekly inventory audits.

    • Responsible for work environment, relationships, visual presentation standards, and operational compliance of the store; measured through various reporting tools, team members observations and feedback.

    • Consistently insures the safety of team members, customers, visitors, and vendors by maintaining knowledge and consistent application of all safety policies.

    Required Education and Experience

    • Minimum age requirement of 18 years.

    • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

    • Possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the insurance carrier.

    • Proven leadership and motivational abilities, time management and organizational skills, training, coaching, and counseling; Retail management experience encouraged.

    • Average computer and tablet skills; able to navigate within the sales management software comfortably.

    • Must have basic knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions. Ability to apply mathematical formulas to calculate commissions and discounts and evaluate sales and profit performance.

    • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

    Physical Demands/Work Environment

    • Constantly communicates with customers and team members.

    • Continuously stand and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time.

    • Frequently required to reach overhead and below the knees, squat, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch or crawl.

    • Often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard or tablet.

    • Occasionally climb in and out of various vehicles.

    • Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.

    • Able to climb up and down ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise.

    • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate required hand tools, mechanical tools.

    • Must be able to function well in a physically demanding environment that frequently exposure to adverse weather conditions.

    • Normal or corrected sight ability required.

    • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

    Additional Requirements

    • Acceptable criminal history background check.

    • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

    • Pass a Pre-employment Drug Screen evaluation.
