Be part of a great Team within a great organization – The Surgery department is looking for a certified Sterile Processing Technician. The Sterile Processing Technician Performs and participates in decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment. Cleans and inspects patient equipment, gathers instruments and supplies for surgical case carts. Operates equipment as well as some computer systems, inventories and restocks departmental supplies and special carts.
Job Responsibilities:
Education & Experience:
Education: High school graduate. On the job training provided by a Certified Sterile Processing Technician.
Experience: Prefer three to six months related experience.
Required licensure/certification: Basic Life Support {BLS} Certificate. Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training. CRCST certification highly encouraged with one year experience.
