Hourly Rate: $24.72
Position Summary:
Full-time position available for a Case Manager Chemical Dependency for our Behavioral Health Program in Tacoma, WA. The Chemical Dependency Case Manager is a person who is in training to become a Chemical Dependency Professional. During their internship they will work directly under the clinical supervision of a CDP. This person will learn all of the duties and responsibilities of a CDP. These duties include how to: be a liaison between the public and the facility, organize and provide direct counseling services to patients, provide a one-to-one or group counseling, assessment, evaluation and intakes. These services are given to adults, youth, and their families. These clients have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency and may also have emerging mental health problems. Applicants are expected to subscribe to the disease concept of chemical dependency with the belief that total abstinence is required for ongoing recovery from alcoholism and other drug addiction. This job description does not suggest or imply that these are the only duties to be performed/learned by this employee. This person will be required to follow other instructions and to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
