    General Description:

    Responsibilities include: Fulfilling customer orders by taking orders via fax, email or phone; entering the order into the system; researching location of the product by checking the system or working with planners; arranging the movement of product from outside warehouses to customers; preparing invoices; work with sales reps, customers, regarding inaccuracies, and pricing errors; participating in limited or special product sales programs; and handling receptionist duties.

    Principal Responsibilities

    Customer Service

    • Interact with internal & external customers.
    • Accuracy in processing orders, quotes, returns, and credits. 
    • Be able to work in the office Monday – Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
    • Process delivery tickets and per carton reports. 
    • Work with accounting and sales on rebate programs.
    • Train fog/freshvue temporary employees on order entry and processing in SAP and dispatch 
    • Maintain customer files. 
    • Issue and track return authorization numbers for product returns.
    • Enter warehouse transfers.
    • Ability to problem solve.
    • Ability to upload and manage customer price sheet as supplied by sales and marketing.
    • Be able to pull data from the fog/freshvue dispatch system
    • File daily invoicing
    • Provide data to finance when requested. 
    • Select best warehouse shipping location to save freight and meet customer demand.
    • Coordinate shipments with AFS and other freight brokers as needed
    • Backup for import/export specialist on shipments
    • Review monthly consignment reports against billed sales to ensure accurate billing.
    • Calculate month end sales accruals for finance. 
    • Backup for Visalia invoicing as needed. 
    • Participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory as instructed. 
    • Other duties as assigned. 

    Receptionist Duties:

    • Greet employees, vendors, etc. in front lobby.
    • Manage and address visitors at main gate entry via cell phone. 

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Able to lift 25 lbs.
    • Able to sit for long periods.
    • Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
    • Able to bend and move packages.

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION GUIDELINES:

    • AA Degree preferred or equivalent, with 2 – 5 years of related experience.
    • Two to five years customer service or related experience; order entry experience along with shipping/receiving/inventory experience.
    • International export experience a plus
    • Good command of general computer applications, i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, and basic math knowledge including SAP 
    • Excellent listening skills along with oral and writing skills; attention to detail.
    • Able to manage multiple priority tasks and strong organizational skills.
    • Spanish speaking a plus. 
    • Lean process improvement experience preferred. 

     

    JOB DETAILS:

    • Hourly range: $22.00 - $25.00, profit sharing potential 
    • Type: Full-time
    • Schedule: generally, M-F
