Chemical Dependency Director directs chemical dependency and substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. Leads, supports, and develops care team members. Being a Chemical Dependency Director oversees services from intake through discharge for continuity and quality of client care. Prioritizes client safety and directs crisis management. Additionally, Chemical Dependency Director develops and administers approved standards and guidelines, ensures all licensing and accreditation requirements are maintained. Establishes and administers recordkeeping and reporting processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). Typically reports to a director. The Chemical Dependency Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chemical Dependency Director typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Responsible for Lab Analysis to ensure proper levels of chemicals in waste water plant process in can manufacturing facility
    • Performs chemical analysis on the various samples from the washer stages: records results
    • Uses PLC monitors to verify levels of water in tanks, pH of water, cut off valves and other processes under the control of the CPO
    • Uses, sulfuric, hydrofluoric and caustic acids and lime to ensure proper levels
    • Maintains chemical controls and makes mechanical adjustments as needed
    • Troubleshoots based on results obtained from various process checks
    • Compare analysis results to the standards and makes adjustments as needed
    • must be able to work independently
    Job Requirements
    • Prefer Physical Chemical South Carolina License of D Level or higher or ability to pass the state the license within 2 years of hire
    • If not currently licensed must have strong math skills including geometry
    • must be able to move 300 lbs in a 55 gallon drum with assistance
    • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may sit, climb or balance, talk & hear. The associate may repetitively lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions
