Overview:

A Pool Chemical Technician is responsible for maintaining the chemical balance and cleanliness of pools and spas. Their duties typically include testing water samples, adjusting chemical levels as needed, cleaning filters and equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. They may also troubleshoot and repair pool equipment issues. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of pool chemistry, and adherence to safety protocols are essential for this role. Additionally, excellent communication skills are often necessary when interacting with clients and explaining maintenance procedures.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:

- Test water quality and adjust chemical levels as needed to maintain proper balance

- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as chlorinators

- Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to supervisor

- Previous experience as a Pool Technician or similar role preferred

- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures for water quality analysis

- Familiarity with materials handling and packaging techniques

Pay: $17.00 - $23.87 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
