Chemical Technician jobs in Olive Branch, MS

Please read carefully. Position is located in Jonesboro, AR and is temp-to-hire after 90 days. Updated resume with related experience is required. This is NOT a janitorial position.

Must pass interview, drug screen, and background check. Convictions cannot be violent or sexual related. All others are looked at on a case by case basis.

• Handle and maintain cleaning equipment and materials including hazardous chemicals.
• Apply knowledge of chemicals and cleaning procedures for assignment.
• Follow all safety rules and practices. May be involved in committees or initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Purge surfaces with water and or non-hazardous chemicals
• May operate hand-held blast
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and work environment
• Safely and efficiently perform all essential functions of the job
• Heavy lifting is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.51 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
