Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical reactions particularly catalysis reactions under the supervision of senior chemists.
• Monitor reactions and analyze both solid and liquid products using various analytical instruments such as XRF, LIBS, ICP, XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDX and so on.
• Assist in the development and optimization of chemical processes.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
• Compile and analyze laboratory data and present in team meetings to discuss project progress and findings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot experimental issues and propose solutions.
• Stay updated on relevant scientific literature and advancements in the field of chemistry.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment in the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Chemistry. 
• Strong theoretical understanding of general chemistry principles.
• Basic laboratory skills and experience with common laboratory techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for chemistry.

• Prior research experience in a chemistry laboratory.
• Familiarity with specialized instrumentation such as XRF, XRD, LIBS, ICP, FTIR, SEM-EDX and software used in chemical analysis.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a laboratory setting.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot experimental procedures and propose improvements.
