Basic Function:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a leadership role for the Accounting and Financial functions of the Bank. Responsible for suggesting and implementing strategies which lead to greater, sustainable, long-run profitability. With the support of the Accounting and Finance department, the CFO will ensure timely and accurate reporting which will support business decisions for the entirety of the bank.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Supports the Board of Directors on Corporate Financial Management including, but not limited to, topics of: dividend policy, capital structure, corporate governance, and strategic initiatives.
· Reviews the Bank’s investment portfolio while making buy/hold/sell recommendations to the CEO.
· Responsible for facilitating Management level ALCO and Board level Finance Committee meetings. Reports on areas pertaining to interest rate risk, liquidity, sources and use of funds, and overall comparison of appropriate financial metrics to CCB policy guidelines. Recommends actions to be taken to address financial risks.
· Creates and maintains the annual budget (with monthly detail), while reporting to the Board of Directors the Bank’s financial performance vs the approved budget and self-identified peers.
· Responsible for seeking and implementing continuous efficiencies dependent on the leverage of technology and automation, where feasible and valuable.
· Conducts quantitative data analysis and financial modeling which includes but is not limited to; branch profitability, loan portfolio parameters, deposit portfolio parameters, and product profitability.
· Responsible for identifying, measuring, monitoring, and controlling the model for CCB’s ACL estimation, CECL calculation, and general economic review as it pertains to potential credit loss outlook.
· Responsible for overseeing and enhancing the bank’s corporate credit card relationship, as it pertains to the employees and the bank as a whole.
· Responsible for maintenance and implementation of policies related to Accounting & Finance functions of the bank.
· Oversees the Bank’s accounts payable process.
· Oversees the Bank’s incoming and outgoing, domestic and international, wire funds transfers.
· Manage the bank’s BOLI portfolio.
· Manages critical relationships pertaining to Accounting and Finance for the Bank.
· Manage direct reports: Information Security Officer/Vendor Management Officer/Audit Liaison, Risk/Compliance/BSA/Security Officer, Controller, Finance Assistant.
· Complete continuing education opportunities to stay updated on regulations/best practices for areas under your responsibility.
· Completes all duties to ensure compliance with BSA and OFAC requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in related positions or banking, in general, required. Specialized bank finance education and training strongly preferred. CPA preferred.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study required; Masters’ degree preferred.

Salary range: $106,558-$168,431/annually
