Introduces and teaches new techniques to staff. Being a Chief CAT Scan Technologist maintains environmental, infection control, and safety procedures for the department. Typically requires an associate's degree. Additionally, Chief CAT Scan Technologist requires completion of radiologic technology training and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration. Typically reports to a director.
