The CT Technologist provides completed images by performing a variety of complex imaging procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. The CT Technologist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Effectively performs imaging procedures independently * Accurately performs veni-puncture, injects contrast using the pressure injector, and sends images through the Internet for interpretation * Appropriately assists the radiologist during fluoroscopic and other special procedures requiring sterile technique * Effectively performs procedures in Surgery, ER, ICU and other nursing units using portable equipment * Practices radiation safety techniques and marks and labels films correctly The CT Technologist reports to the Manager Diagnostic Imaging. * ARRT registration * Graduation from an accredited program for Radiologic Technology as Registry Eligible and ARRT registered within 18 months * Must be able to communicate effectively in English
