Calder Management is currently seeking individuals for Security Officer positions. Officers are responsible for providing site and staff security, visitor escorts, guard tours, video surveillance and alarm system operation.

Job Duties:

• Maintain site security and staff safety at all times.
• Enforce all security standard operating procedures.
• Conduct visitor sign-in and escort duties as required.
• Conduct foot patrols.
• Conduct video surveillance.
• Operate alarm and fire systems.
• Identify and respond to emergency situations.
• Respond to and document all activated alarms.
• Identify and respond to security threats, both external and internal.
• Act as primary contact for emergency services responders.
• Additional duties as required.

Minimum qualifications:

• Must pass federal background check.
• Must pass state background check.
• Able to work rotating shifts, 24/7 staffing.
• Able to conduct frequent foot patrols through multiple-floor facilities.
• Able to sit for extended periods of time.
• Able to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, in the English language.
• Moderate grammar and typing skills required.
• Able to view and monitor multiple video outputs for extended times.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows OS and compatible software.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Reliable transportation required; position is mission critical.

Additional Requirements

• Required to wear a face mask when working with or in proximity to plant material, extraction material (at any point of processing), or a final product to ensure the sterility of materials.
• Required to be able to perform a variety of physical activities throughout the day such as: sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 60lbs, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
