Chief Financial Officer
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to oversee finance related activities. The CFO is responsible for overseeing the general accounting and financial reporting functions of the YWCA Madison, Inc., YWCA Madison Housing, YWCA of Madison Foundation, Inc. and YWCA Madison Developer, LLC. The CFO implements and maintains a system of internal controls that will ensure the company assets are adequately safeguarded and that financial reporting is prepared in compliance with company policies, GAAP and regulatory policies.
The CFO will oversee all general accounting functions which include intercompany accounting, cash management/reconciliation, financial reporting and balance sheet management, and supervising accounting staff.
This is a full-time, salaried position (36 hours per week). We offer an excellent benefits package.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in accounting from a four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience in addition to 3 years related experience including 2 years supervisory/management experience. Candidates will also have a solid understanding in cost allocation policies and government cost principles and administrative requirements, strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting. Experience with Great Plains accounting software and Microsoft Office products preferred. Non-Profit experience preferred.
