This higher education institution is seeking a Chief Financial Officer as a member of their senior leadership team. The CFO will report to the President of the college to provide a breadth of expertise, supervision and guidance in the areas of: fund accounting, financial reporting and analysis, audit oversight and management, policy development, internal control, general accounting, budgeting and forecasting, and financial investment accounting. The CFO is also an important partner to several departments throughout the system. As a result, this position requires the applicant have a CPA designation with the knowledge necessary to manage but lead within a financially complex organization. A minimum of three to five years of experience in a leadership position is essential to be eligible for this opening. Previous experience at a higher education institution is preferred.
