Chief Financial Officer is responsible for developing an organization's overall financial policies. Provides strategic direction of all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Being a Chief Financial Officer ensures that proper financial controls are in place and that financial transactions support the overall business strategy while conforming with applicable laws and regulations. Requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Chief Financial Officer may require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Typically reports to chief executive officer (CEO) or chief operating officer (COO). Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. This CFO, Chief Financial Officer, opening is with a reputable, Private-Practice Imaging Center in the state of Oregon. This private-practice is owned and operated by a group of local radiologists with the mission of providing the highest level of patient care to their community. This practice has 24 provider / partners, 100 employees, and two locations. Services provided include 3T MRI, Low Dose Catscan (CT), digital x-rays, mammography, ultrasound, and more. This center is looking for a CFO who can help take this team to the next level!
The CFO will be delighted to know this center has been providing services for 50 years. They are excited and eager for a Masters prepared finance leader to be joining their team as the next Chief Financial Officer. Prior experience in the healthcare setting either in a private practice, hospital setting, FQHC Clinic, Urgent Care, or any other healthcare setting in either a Director of Finance or CFO capacity will make for quick interviews!
Responsibilities of the Clinic Chief Financial Officer include overseeing financial planning, budgets, and forecasts to guide strategic decision making and ensure the company’s financial stability and growth. Additional duties include analyzing data, providing financial guidance to the leadership team, ensuring compliance, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs).
