- Overseeing and managing financial audits to ensure compliance with federal contract regulations.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Providing strategic financial planning and analysis to support business decisions.
- Preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to guide decision-making.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Leading financial risk management initiatives and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Managing cash flow, investments, and financial assets to maximize returns and minimize risks.
Required Skills and Competencies:- 10 years of experience in federal contract finance management.
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of federal contract finance regulations.
- Excellent leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
- Ability to interpret and apply financial policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of risk management and internal controls.
- Experience with financial audits and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Desired Skills and Competencies:- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification.
- Experience with government contracting and federal financial systems.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
Working Environment & ConditionsThis job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate.
