What is the role of Information Technology/Security Officer?
The Information Technology/Security Officer understands existing and emerging technology for deposit operations and other banking matters. Responsibilities includes analyzing needs and assisting in the maintenance of the Bank’s computer systems to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of products and services, while working with the core vendor to implement new products or services or address issues.
What will you do as Information Technology/Security Officer?
This position manages the installation of core banking software releases and provides training to ensure a knowledgeable staff. The position assists customers and associates to actively support the Bank’s day-to-day operations by recognizing, researching and resolving issues and answering questions about products and services. In addition, this role is responsible for monitoring the Bank’s security program, systems and equipment.
What education/experience is preferred for Information Technology/Security Officer?
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
· Two to four years of computer-related experience
· Six to eight years of position-related experience
· Retail or banking IT experience preferred
· OR equivalent combination of education and experience
