Chief Water Distribution Operator ~~ City of Somersworth, NH

Oversees the operation and maintenance of the City’s class II Water Distribution System ensuring quality water delivery and fire protection. HS or equivalent and five years’ experience in the operation & maintenance of a water distribution system, including two years supervisory experience or equivalent combination. Strong communications and problem-solving skills are essential. Also required: *Valid Drivers License, *NH Water Distribution Operator Grade II-or ability to acquire within 12 months of hire *Backflow Prevention Device Inspector license-or ability to acquire within 12 months of hire. Pay rate $27.23 - $35.74. Excellent benefits package.
