Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides administrative oversight for the nuclear medical technology department of a hospital. Reviews, develops and implements technical policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Being a Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist supervises nuclear medicine technologists, and may perform the functions of a technologist as needed. Ensures proper usage, maintenance and updates of medical equipment. Additionally, Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist requires a bachelor's degree. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification. Typically requires Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) Certification. Typically reports to a director. The Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities

    As a Certified Nursing Assistant/Caregiver you may be tasked with helping patients with personal hygiene, safety assistance, meal prep, range of motion and other responsibilities. To excel in this role you should have interest in health-care, keeping the patients’ needs as your top priority and working independently in a home setting with minimal supervision according to Nuclear Care Partners policy and Department of Labor requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Must have a high school diploma or GED
    • Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA registered with the state of (STATE)
    • CPR certification is required
    • Patient care experience in Home Health, preferred but not required
    • Must have the ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions and to maintain nursing records and charts
    • Ability to interact professionally with patients and families
    • Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must adapt to changing workload and/or interruptions
    • Must have a valid driver license and be in good standing
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
