Being a Chief Radiologic Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of radiologic technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief Radiologic Technologist requires an associate degree in radiology. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - (R). Typically requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager or director. Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Weather Forecaster to join our dynamic team supporting the Operational Weather Squadron (OWS) located at SHAW AFB, SC.
Qualified candidates must have the following experience/education:
· Minimum of eight (8) years of recent experience as a weather forecaster, shift supervisor, graphics producer, and/or Senior Duty Officer (SDO) supporting DoD operations working with the standard AFWWS (JET and LEADS, or their replacements), or a 4-year college degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, or other natural science plus a minimum of four (4) years of recent experience supporting DoD operations working with the standard AFWWS (JET and LEADS, or their replacements)
· A military background and have reached a 7-level or equivalent experience certification in US Air Force Specialty Codes 1W0X1 or 15WX or US Navy Classification Codes 7412 or 1800.
· SDO and limited data forecasting experience is highly desired.
· An active Secret clearance is required
