Chief Radiologic Technologist oversees radiologic services, maintains technical aspects of radiologic safety and evaluates accuracy and quality of X-rays. Schedules work assignments and coordinates requests for radiologic services. Being a Chief Radiologic Technologist recommends new equipment, equipment modification, and crucial construction within the department. May perform duties of radiologic technologist as needed. Additionally, Chief Radiologic Technologist requires an associate degree in radiology. Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - (R). Typically requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager or director. The Chief Radiologic Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief Radiologic Technologist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Weather Forecaster to join our dynamic team supporting the Operational Weather Squadron (OWS) located at SHAW AFB, SC.Qualified candidates must have the following experience/education:
· Minimum of eight (8) years of recent experience as a weather forecaster, shift supervisor, graphics producer, and/or Senior Duty Officer (SDO) supporting DoD operations working with the standard AFWWS (JET and LEADS, or their replacements), or a 4-year college degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, or other natural science plus a minimum of four (4) years of recent experience supporting DoD operations working with the standard AFWWS (JET and LEADS, or their replacements)
· A military background and have reached a 7-level or equivalent experience certification in US Air Force Specialty Codes 1W0X1 or 15WX or US Navy Classification Codes 7412 or 1800.
· SDO and limited data forecasting experience is highly desired.
· An active Secret clearance is required
