Position Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to educate, supervise and insure the well-being of the children at all times, being alert for the needs and/or problems of the individual child as well as the group.

Cooperative Relationships: There is a consistent interaction with children, parents/guardians and staff.Our goal is to maintain positive working conditions and relationships.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED, CDA credential preferred
• Experience working with children
• 18 years of age or older
• Good organizational skills
• Positive attitude and good judgment
• Ability to perform job responsibilities
• Ability to communicate in written and verbal form
• CPR (Infant, Child and Adult) and First Aid
• TB and Fingerprinting required ( employee responsible for cost)

This job may require first aid treatments, which cause exposure to blood, bodily fluids and/or other infectious materials.

This job requires frequent bending and lifting up to 40 lbs. Bending and squatting are also necessary for this job.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
