Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that foster learning and growth in preschool-aged children.
• Engage children in educational activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Provide individualized attention to each child; and support their unique learning style.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and inclusive environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices in child development.

Requirements

• Previous experience in preschool settings, daycare facilities, or as a nanny is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
• Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to various age groups (infant, and toddler care experience is beneficial).
• A passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
• Relevant certifications or degrees in early childhood education or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
