Lighthouse Child & Family Services is currently accepting applications for a Mental Health Professional (or Clinical Trainee) to serve clients enrolled in our Princeton Day Treatment program.

Primary Duties:

• Conduct Diagnostic Assessments (DA) and Individual Treatment Plans (ITP).
• Conduct DC:0-5 Assessments.
• Provide group psychotherapy as a component of Day Treatment to children primarily ages 3-12 and up to age 18 depending on community needs.
• Provide individual and family therapy to children and their families in the office, telehealth and in-home (when recommended).
• Complete documentation and data collection in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s degree in one of the following behavioral science fields (psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, and/or related field).
• Licensure completed OR on licensure track as LMFT, LPCC, LP, or LICSW in the State of Minnesota.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, valid automobile insurance, and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass criminal background check completed through MN DHS (including fingerprints and photograph).

Environmental/Physical Factors and Requirements:

• This role requires sitting for a majority of the scheduled workday, however, may include standing, walking, brief running, climbing stairs/hills, squatting, and sitting on floor for extended periods of time in daily direct care work.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds and participate in restrictive procedure holds requiring 2-person escorts lifting 50-100 pounds (i.e., preschool through high school aged Day Treatment students).
• If applicable, travel to and work in community-based service locations including family homes that may not be clean or sanitary.
