Evaluates patients' condition based on their symptoms and medical history. Being a Chiropractor examines spine and posture, conducts tests or takes X rays. Provides neuromusculoskeletal therapy. Additionally, Chiropractor requires a doctorate degree in chiropractic (DC). Must pass either National Board tests or state examinations to obtain a license. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Chiropractor's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Responsibilities:- Patient exam/evaluation (review medical history and pertinent imaging/records)
- Perform manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body
- Educate patients on the continued benefits of routine chiropractic care
- Provide a recommended course of treatment
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes- charting
- Hospitality and making phone calls
- Regular follow up to ensure you are meeting patient expectations
- Building positive doctor-patient relationships
- Analyze x-rays to locate the sources of patient difficulties and to rule out fracture or diseases as sources of problems.
- Doctor of Chiropractic degree from an accredited chiropractic college
- Valid DC license in MS
- Full-time or Part time
- Weekend (Saturdays 10-4) availability a must. Not every Saturday
- $70k-$100k per year
