Position summary:

CareSTL Health is looking a an experienced Chiropractor who evaluates and treats patients' neuromusculoskeletal systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Chiropractor may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.

• Provides for the acute and chronic medical and health maintenance care of the patient with neuromusculoskeletal issues, using spinal adjustments, other manipulations, as well as other clinical interventions, including patient education. The Chiropractor will also provide productivity as determined by the Chief Medical Officer
• Provides excellent customer service to the patients.
• Provides patients with treatment and management plans to address pain and improve patients' quality of life.
• Follows the Health Center's QAQI Plan, as it applies to Chiropractic
• Works with the Chief Medical Officer in providing health care and services at CareSTL Health.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Doctor of Chiropractic
• Licensing by the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners
• Passage of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners ( NBCE) Physiotherapy Exam

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Effective clinical and communication skills

Transportation Requirement:

• Must have Reliable Transportation

Supervisory Responsibility:

• This position supervises medical students and residents as needed
• Works with Support staff to deliver health care to patients
• May be asked to serve as a collaborator for Nurse Practitioner(s) at CareSTL Health in this specialty

Additional Eligibility Qualifications (licenses, programs, certificates, pre-employment check and post and annual screening(s)

• Copy of License and Board Certification as a Chiropractor, licensed to practice in the State of Missouri
• Current Registration with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry
• Must maintain hospital-admitting privileges at appropriate hospitals
• Must meet criteria for Meaningful Use of the Electronic Health Record
• Annual PPD or Chest X-Ray
• COVID-19 vaccination
• Current BLS/ CPR Certification as applicable

• Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• 11 paid holidays per year.
