REQUIREMENTS

If you're interested in this position, you need to meet these qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 5 years of relevant civil design experience, including drainage and highway design
• Ability to direct staff in the preparation of designs, construction plans, and documents

The following qualities would be preferred but aren't required:

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification in NY and NJ States
• Design experience on NYCDEP, NYSDOT, NYCDOT, and other agencies in NYS and NJ

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Civil Project Engineer is an essential part of our project management team. You oversee and monitor the creation of designs for various public infrastructure projects, including site civil engineering, stormwater management, sewer design, and utility relocation.

Collaboration is essential here. You work closely with our experienced project managers to develop drainage calculations, create impressive designs, and bid documents. Additionally, you serve as a mentor, guiding and inspiring our junior staff to cultivate precision and excellence.
