Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential technical support to our engineers and project managers in the planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects. From drafting to field inspections, the Civil Engineering Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers and project managers in the preparation of engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  
• Conduct field surveys and gather relevant data to support design and construction activities.
  
• Perform calculations, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates for materials and labor.
  
• Assist in the analysis of survey data, soil reports, and other technical documents to inform project design and decision-making.
  
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and address any issues or discrepancies.
  
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
  
• Assist in the preparation of project status reports, presentations, and client communications.
  

• Associate's degree or technical certificate in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
  
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a civil engineering technician or related role.
  
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, particularly AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
