Claims Adjuster Trainee jobs in Belgrade, MT

The Montana Association of Counties (MACo) is seeking a Claims Adjuster for its Property and Casualty Trust (PCT). The primary focus of this position is to investigate, evaluate, and settle property and liability claims. Employees in this position must be able to analyze a wide variety of information and make independent decisions regarding processing and settling property and liability claims. This position has extensive contacts with MACo members, MACo staff, governing boards, claimants, medical providers, agents, attorneys, body shops, contractors, and excess carriers.

Successful applicants should have a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors’ degree in a related field with one to five years related experience preferred. Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.

The starting annual salary range is $56,979 to $81,564 (Senior Claims Adjuster) depending on experience. MACo offers a generous benefit package including health insurance (including dental and vision), 401k retirement contribution, vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay.
