Additionally, Claims Processing Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Claims Processing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our dynamic team at our production facility. The Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the overall success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and production industry knowledge.


    Responsibilities:


    1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
    • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management for effective financial control.


    2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

    • Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to establish realistic financial targets.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts based on market trends and production projections.


    3. Financial Reporting:

    • Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
    • Present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.


    4. Cost Control:

    • Monitor and analyze production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
    • Implement and maintain cost control measures to optimize operational performance.


    5. Inventory Management:

    • Oversee the accounting for inventory, including valuation and reconciliation.
    • Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate tracking of raw materials and finished goods.


    6. Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks.


    7. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting staff.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.


    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
    • Proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in finance and accounting.
    • Knowledge of food production industry practices and regulations.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficient in financial modeling and ERP systems.
