Job Description:
- Under general supervision, plans, directs, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in one unit on a particular shift, in accordance with established philosophy.
- Relates effectively with other shifts for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relations with other departments and nursing units.
- Participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and upgrading of policies, procedures, and skills of personnel.
- The ANA's standards apply to all nurses in all settings, and additional specialty standards apply to all specialty nurses, defining what is a competent or an excellent clinician.

Requirements:
- Must have experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Client utilizes Allscripts Paragon.
- Must be able to read vital signs and provide injections/vaccinations.
- Must be able and willing to float without hesitation.
- Nurse will have 6 patients with 2 LMA to assist on each floor.
- 18 staffed beds.
- 4 to 6-week orientation before going on to the floor.
Qualifications:
- Will take NEW GRADS with a temporary or active NH license.
- Will consider ASN's.
- BSN preferred.
- PALS and Tele Strip Certified preferred.
- On-call: None.
- Weekend rotation.
Certifications and State Licenses:
- ACLS, BLS (AHA).
- State License: New Hampshire.
