What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Research and resolve all types of denials efficiently and accurately, including coordination of benefits, insurance eligibility, and coding issues
• Document all actions and communications regarding each account in the practice management system
• Identify and track denial trends by payer, provider, and code
• Answer customer service inquiries professionally and ensure thorough follow-up until resolution
• Handle unique cases such as bankruptcy and charity with accuracy and expedience
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the medical field, accounting, or accounts receivable
• Understanding of basic coding to effectively address coding denials
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette skills
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and work under productivity standards
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Certifications in Medical Billing and Coding highly desirable
• Proficiency in additional languages is a plus
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
