The Kitchen Classroom is hiring for part-time Chef Instructors. Hours are as needed, scheduled 4-6 weeks in advance. High level of General cooking and or baking knowledge is required. Ability to talk in front of others, teach, and lead a class of 8-30 people is required. We are looking for a diverse group of instructors with various areas of expertise. Specifically looking for expertise and experience in general baking, bread, pastry, cakes, and most international cuisines. (Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Latin American, South American, African, Indian)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare for and instruct class of 8-30 students

• Lead Kitchen Assistants helping with class

• Set-up and prepare space for class

• Work with students as a group and one on one in class

• Maintain class flow to complete in planned time frame

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
